About Us
Aaron Cowie is the owner and lead inspector at Fifty Point Home Inspections. Aaron became an inspector after completing the Carson Dunlop Home Inspector Training directly from the Carson Dunlop School of Home Inspections in 2020. After completing the Carson Dunlop program, he did a year long apprentice program while gaining a second certificate from NACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors).

Home Inspections
This type of inspection only includes major components of the property. This includes the roof, HVAC, foundation, electrical panel and plumbing.
This type of inspection is only for single-family use homes.
This inspection takes about an hour.
Standard
Home Inspections
A standard home inspection is the most popular type of inspection due to how thorough we are.
We start with the roof and inspect the exterior. From there, we venture into the attic and then spend a fair amount of time in the basement looking at the structure, foundation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and any living spaces. Afterwards, we head to the kitchen, laundry room, living spaces and cover all bedrooms and bathrooms.

It is always highly encouraged to know what condition your property is in before it is placed on the market.
Being aware of any possible defects that can be remedied in advance eliminates surprises that could affect the sale of a property.
When potential buyers see a thorough inspection report before placing an offer, they then know what exactly they are getting into and can place a stronger offer on the property.
New Construction
Home Inspections
Hiring a third party inspector for your brand new home is a smart decision before having the final walk through with your builder.
It is the last chance to catch any defects at this stage of the construction process and make sure your newly constructed home is safe and functional.
We also do Tarion warranty inspections. Before finalizing your report, it is strongly encouraged to have your home professionally inspected to ensure all issues are brought forward to Tarion.
